05/17/2023 - Dr. Anna Ratka, a professor in the Wegmans School of Pharmacy, was recently named a Professional Achievement Award recipient from her alma mater, the Idaho State University (ISU) College of Pharmacy.
05/14/2023 - Each year, St. John Fisher University honors members of its graduating class who have achieved excellence in their academic studies and co-curricular pursuits.
05/13/2023 - The Wegmans School of Pharmacy honored its baccalaureate and doctoral graduates during a Commencement ceremony held on Saturday, May 13. In addition to receiving their diploma, the graduates of the Pharm.D. degree received their doctoral hoods.
05/04/2023 - The Rochester Business Journal has selected Dr. Christine Birnie, dean of the Wegmans School of Pharmacy at St. John Fisher University, as a recipient in the 2023 Women of Excellence awards.
04/20/2023 - In his book, Creating Wicked Students: Designing Courses for a Complex World, Dr. Paul Hanstedt encourages professors to create courses that will prepare students to address “wicked problems,” or issues that are forever changing and require innovative and dynamic thinking to solve them.
04/12/2023 - This month, an event will bring together the best of two past symposiums that highlight and celebrate student, faculty, and staff research and creative work. The newly created Fisher Showcase will take place from 12:15 to 4 p.m. on Friday, April 28, in Cleary Family Auditorium.
04/11/2023 - Dr. Lipika Chablani, an associate professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences in the Wegmans School of Pharmacy, has been recognized for her efforts and contributions to the field of pharmacy with her recent election as Pharmaceutics Section Chair of the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP).
04/07/2023 - A hallmark of the Pharm.D. program, the annual Wegmans School of Pharmacy Service Day brings students, faculty, and staff together to volunteer in their communities.
03/29/2023 - Fisher students, faculty, staff, and teams from Nazareth College and Roberts Wesleyan University will join the effort to raise awareness about suicide prevention during the Out of the Darkness Campus Walk at St. John Fisher University. The event begins at 10 a.m. on Sunday, April 16, in Cleary Family Auditorium in Kearney Hall.
03/14/2023 - The Wegmans School of Nursing and Wegmans School of Pharmacy at St. John Fisher University are partnering with Mt. Olivet Baptist Church to host a clinic that will provide free blood pressure screenings to members of the community.
