Pharmacy Students Advocate on Pharmacy Legislative Day in Albany

05/04/2026 - This April, 37 pharmacy faculty, students, and local preceptors descended upon Albany to discuss critical pharmacy legislative issues. They were joined by seven other schools of pharmacy across the state totaling a group of more than 200 pharmacists and student pharmacists for Legislative Day.

04/30/2026 - Students, faculty, and staff celebrated a successful academic year with their annual awards ceremonies for campus and online pathways. Recipients were honored for their exceptional academic performance, leadership, research, and service to the pharmacy field.

04/16/2026 - The Wegmans School of Pharmacy student chapter of the National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA) recently hosted Dr. Kristin Riddle, national president of the NCPA, on campus to speak with students about community pharmacy, leadership, and the future of the profession.

Dave, professor and chair in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Wegmans School of Pharmacy, has been selected for the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy’s Academic Leadership Fellows Program (ALFP), a nationally recognized program that prepares pharmacy educators for leadership roles in higher education and academic pharmacy.
