09/15/2026 - To honor the 25th anniversary of the tragedy of September 11, 2001, over 200 Fisher students, faculty, and staff, as well as first responders and community members, joined together to participate in the first annual 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb.
09/14/2026 - During the last academic year, St. John Fisher University reached a pivotal institutional milestone, officially recording $5 million in research expenditures under the latest FY25 HERD (Higher Education Research and Development) Survey. To build upon this momentum, the University launched the Fisher Grant Incubator Program in May 2026, a strategic transition toward a systemic, campus-wide culture of sustained research and scholarship.
09/09/2026 - In its first year, the FOCUS (First-Year Outreach to Community and University Service) Program supports first-year students' transition to college while giving them the chance to build community, discover their own strengths, and partner with others in service.
