02/18/2022 - St. John Fisher College recently announced the Dean’s List honorees for the fall 2021 semester, which includes more than 1,200 undergraduate students.
02/01/2022 - Wegmans School of Pharmacy Dean Christine Birnie has announced the creation of the Dean’s Advisory Council.
01/24/2022 - This May, the College will celebrate members of the Class of 2022 during the 68th Commencement on campus.
01/17/2022 - Dr. Anna Ratka, professor and associate dean of academic affairs at the Wegmans School of Pharmacy at St. John Fisher College, has been selected as a 2022 Fellow of the American Pharmacists Association (APhA).
11/23/2021 - On Saturday, Nov. 20, a team of Wegmans School of Pharmacy students, faculty, preceptors, and alumni served with His Branches Community Health Center, to provide a pediatric vaccine clinic.
11/19/2021 - Wegmans School of Pharmacy residents Jennifer Rafferty, Tenzin Legdup, and Jennifer Chen visited third graders in the Pittsford Central School District to talk about medication safety and introduce them to the pharmacy profession.
10/29/2021 - A twice-monthly peer support group on campus is designed to help students address their mental health issues with the assistance of peers and professionals. A cross-campus collaboration, the sessions are organized by Dr. Chris Noel, visiting associate professor in the Wegmans School of Pharmacy, and facilitated by two graduate students in the mental health counseling program in the Wegmans School of Nursing.
10/28/2021 - Fisher undergraduate students who conducted academic research are invited to submit their abstracts to Posters on the Hill 2020, sponsored by the Council on Undergraduate Research (CUR).
10/25/2021 - St. John Fisher College alumna Ellen Fichera ’21 (M.S.), and students William DePasquale ’22 (Pharm.D.) and Anthony Nicolosi ’23 were named recipients of the Italian Women’s Civic Club (IWCC) Dante Scholarship Award. Fichera was honored as a 2020 recipient, and DePasquale and Nicolosi were honored as 2021 recipients.
10/14/2021 - This year, four faculty members in the Wegmans School of Pharmacy are leading regional and state-wide professional pharmacy organizations. Through their leadership, these organizations are supporting students, uniting practitioners, and advocating for the profession.
