05/03/2022 - The Wegmans School of Pharmacy hosted an Honors Night on Wednesday, April 20, recognizing 20 students for their leadership skills and academic success.

05/02/2022 - The Wegmans School of Pharmacy at St. John Fisher College was awarded a $20,000 grant from the National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS) Foundation to train students on how to work with interpreters when providing patient care.

04/29/2022 - Students, faculty, and staff from the Wegmans School of Pharmacy celebrated a successful academic year during their annual awards program held on Thursday, April 28. Award and honor recipients were recognized for their hard work and dedication to the pharmacy field.

03/25/2022 - Dr. Janet Lighthouse, an assistant professor in the Wegmans School of Pharmacy at St. John Fisher College, was selected for the New Investigator Award, given by the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP).

03/18/2022 - On Monday, Feb 28, the Wegmans School of Pharmacy hosted a six-person medical team from Haiti, who was in Rochester to work with the Vineyard Farm to learn more about setting up pharmacist-run vaccine clinics in other parts of the world. The Haitian team spent 10 days meeting with different groups around the city. The team is partnering with the Vineyard Farm, a non-profit organization which serves some of the poorest and most vulnerable populations in the Rochester region.

03/16/2022 - After more than two years, the Wegmans School of Pharmacy sent two teams of students to serve on international service projects, caring for patients and community members in Roatan, Honduras and Lima, Peru.

03/14/2022 - A $500,000 grant from the Mother Cabrini Health Foundation will establish the Interprofessional Simulation Center (IPE Sim Center) at St. John Fisher College. The new laboratory will mirror health care practice settings where nursing and pharmacy students can engage in collective learning, professional role discovery, and skill development.
