Housing Selection Timeline

Housing selection for the 2026-2027 academic year will take place as follows.

Housing Selection Dates and Deadlines

Monday, February 9 at 9 a.m.

Tuesday, February 24 from 8:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.

  • Residence Hall Showcase - Students will have an opportunity to see various room types in the upper-class residence halls. Stop by the lobby of any upper-class residence hall during the showcase time to participate. 

Wednesday, March 11 by 4:30 p.m.

Thursday, March 12

  • Commuter students will be notified whether or not they are eligible to participate in housing selection by 4 p.m.
  • Housing selection numbers will be available on ResLife Online and via email by 6 p.m.

Friday, March 13

Single room selection times will be emailed to students by 6 p.m. Single room selection is March 16.

Monday, March 16

Single Room Selection

Students will log into ResLife Online at their assigned time and choose a single room. Students who preferenced a single room will receive their specific assigned time to log in by 6 p.m. on Friday, March 13.

Tuesday, March 17 by 4:30 p.m.

4-person roommate groups for Founders suites must be verified by this deadline.

Thursday, March 19 by 6 p.m.

Suite selection times will be emailed to group members by 6 p.m. Suite selection is March 20.

Friday, March 20

Suite Selection

A group member must log into ResLife Online at their assigned time to choose a suite. Group members will receive their specific assigned time to log in by 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 19.

Sunday, March 22 by 11:59 p.m.

2-person roommate groups for double rooms must be verified by this deadline.

Tuesday, March 24 by 6 p.m.

Double room selection times will be emailed to group members by 6 p.m. Double room selection is March 25 - 27. Chances for double rooms are not provided because there are too many variables and too many double rooms.

Wednesday, March 25 - Friday, March 27

Double Room Selection

A group member must log into ResLife Online at their assigned time to choose a double room. Group members will receive their specific assigned time to log in by 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 24.

Monday, March 30 at 9 a.m.

The Room Change Wait List opens at 9 a.m. on ResLife Online for students who wish to submit a room change request.
