Parking Lot Designations
Parking and operating a motor vehicle on the St. John Fisher University campus is a privilege. All vehicles on the Fisher campus must be registered with the Office of Safety and Security and display a valid parking permit or pass on the vehicle.
Fisher will not be responsible for the loss of, damage to, or theft of any vehicle on SJF property.
Commuter Student Parking
Commuters with designated permits may only park in the following commuter lots:
- Lot A
- Lot C
- Lot F
- Lot I
- Lot S
Commuter student overnight parking is permitted in S Lot only when approved by security in advance.
Resident Student Parking
Residential students may only park in the following residential lots:
- Lot J
- Lot P
- Lot S
- Lot T
- Lot U
Alternate Parking: During special events or snow removal, resident students may be asked to move their vehicles to alternate parking areas for short periods of time. Members of the campus community will be notified by email as appropriate.
First-Year Student Parking
First-year student parking is available on a limited basis with University approval in the following lots. Those who incur citations for parking outside of these lots will have their first-year parking permits revoked:
- Lot V
- Lot W
- Lot Z

Alternate Parking: During special events or snow removal, first-year students may be asked to move their vehicles to alternate parking areas for short periods of time. Members of the campus community will be notified by email as appropriate.
Faculty/Staff Parking
Faculty/staff designated spaces are posted in Lots A, C, D, E, F, I, M, N, Q, R, S, and X. Faculty and staff may park in any of the parking areas designated for faculty, staff, or commuter student parking.
Visitor Parking
All vehicles on campus must have a permit. If you plan on inviting a visitor to campus, please email Safety & Security (securitystaff@sjf.edu) in order to obtain the necessary visitor permit.
Chapel Parking
A limited number of spaces designated for chapel users are available adjacent the plaza, as well as in Lot M.
