08/26/2026 - This May, St. John Fisher conferred more than 1,000 baccalaureate, master’s, and doctoral degrees to graduates across six ceremonies. Among those turning their tassels and receiving diplomas were 300 students from the Wegmans School of Nursing’s undergraduate and graduate programs.
08/25/2026 - Welcome Weekend 2026 at St. John Fisher University begins with First-Year Move-In Day on Saturday, Sept. 5 and runs through the weekend until the Matriculation Ceremony and the start of classes on Tuesday, Sept. 8.
08/24/2026 - The first year of college is filled with new experiences, new classes, friends, routines, and plenty of opportunities to begin thinking about what comes next. While graduation and a full-time job may seem far away, career development starts long before senior year. One easy way for first-year students to begin exploring their future is by attending Fisher’s Fall Career Fair taking place on September 24 from 12:30–2:30 p.m.

08/18/2026 - St. John Fisher University has been recognized among Money.com’s “Best Colleges in America.”
08/17/2026 - This July, Camryn Parmon and Mikayla Keane, student leaders of Fisher’s Best Buddies Chapter, represented New York colleges at the Best Buddies Leadership Conference hosted at Indiana University.
08/14/2026 - Anastasia Nikolis, assistant professor of English, is one of 116 New York state artists to be recognized with a 2026 NYSCA/NYFA Artist Fellowship to support her nonfiction works.
08/12/2026 - For the tenth year in a row, St. John Fisher University has been recognized for its continuing commitment to engaged, hands-on education by Colleges of Distinction. Fisher was named to the 2026-2027 list, recognizing its delivery of a high-quality undergraduate education that focuses on personalized learning, strong student-faculty relationships, a vibrant campus life, and successful student outcomes.
