Many aspects of life and learning at Fisher include community service.
Fisher has forged partnerships with more than 60 non-profit organizations and schools in the Greater Rochester region, and on any day of the week, students, faculty, and staff can be found sorting and distributing food at Foodlink, reading to children at the Bethany House, building affordable housing through Habitat for Humanity, or weeding, mulching, and raking the grounds of Mount Hope Cemetery.
During your Cardinal Capstone as part of the Fisher Core Curriculum, you will work with peers from multiple majors to help solve a problem in our community, applying your knowledge to big issues around racial disparities, climate change, poverty, educational inequity, and social justice.
