Dr. Jennifer R. Spilberg joined St. John Fisher University in July 2024 as the founding assistant program director and clinical director for the Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) and Nurse Anesthesia Program.  In addition, Dr. Spilberg serves as the Clinical Director for Rochester Regional Health, overseeing 77 CRNAs throughout the healthcare system while maintaining a clinical practice.

Prior to nurse anesthesia, Dr. Spilberg worked as a registered nurse at Strong Memorial Hospital for three years in the Burn Trauma Intensive Care Unit. In addition, Dr. Spilberg served her community as a flight nurse for Mercy Flight West. The experience gained from Mercy Flight allowed for critical thinking outside of a traditional health care setting.

As the assistant program director, Dr. Spilberg is committed to supporting her students both academically and holistically as they navigate the challenges of this doctoral program.  To provide balance within a busy professional life, Dr. Spilberg enjoys spending quality time with her two daughters and is an avid runner and health enthusiast.
