Dr. Wang is an interdisciplinary researcher and educator working at the intersection of artificial intelligence, business analytics, and accounting and finance. His research applies large language models and natural language processing to problems in financial reporting and disclosure, including the reliability and internal mechanisms of the models themselves, alongside empirical work in accounting quality and asset pricing. Ongoing projects examine the detection of hallucinations in financial question answering systems, machine learning measurement of disclosure quality, and the asset pricing implications of accounting-based signals. His work appears in Decision Support Systems (ABDC A*), the Journal of Computer Information Systems (ABDC A), and the Journal of Accounting Literature (ABDC A). At Fisher, he teaches information systems, business analytics, and finance at the undergraduate and MBA levels.
