Web Accessibility Statement
St. John Fisher University is committed to cultivating an equitable, inclusive learning and working environment that attracts, retains, and supports a diverse community of lifelong learners to positively impact today’s complex, global world.
To this end, we continually work to ensure that our website is accessible to all people, regardless of ability or technology.
As an institution of higher education, our goal is to meet or exceed the best practices and standards defined by Section 508 of the U.S. Rehabilitation Act and Level AA of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0.
The University uses Siteimprove to monitor WCAG 2.0 A and AA-level criteria and addresses priority issues as they arise. A site-wide accessibility audit is conducted monthly, and all of the University’s content contributors are educated on web accessibility best practices and have access to training materials and documentation.
If you have any trouble accessing any content on our website, please contact the Office of Marketing and Communications at webmaster@sjf.edu.
