03/09/2026 - This summer, the Wegmans School of Nursing, Wegmans School of Pharmacy, and School of Business will host academic camps for high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors interested in pursuing a career in nursing, pharmacy, or business. The camps are hosted by each of the Schools on the Fisher campus.

Fisher Faces on “TODAY” Two Fisher librarians appear on the TODAY Show for Read Across America day.

03/06/2026 - In honor of “Read Across America Day” on Monday, March 2, the TODAY Show hosted a group of current and future school librarians. Among them were two students in Fisher’s graduate online library media program, Stephanie Rochester and Cheryl Rizzo.

Alumni Remember Son Through Philanthropy The Health and Wellness Center provides resources about mental health to increase knowledge, decrease stigma, and teach coping skills.

03/05/2026 - A gift from two Fisher alumni has established a fund to support mental health and wellness for Fisher students. Through the generosity of Gary ’79 and Cheri ’94 Copie, The Jordan Michael Copie Wellness Fund has been established in memory of their son. The funding has provided assistance and support to mental health initiatives on campus that have benefited students, faculty, and staff alike.

03/04/2026 - Writer and interdisciplinary artist Sarah Minor will serve as the 2026 Cavanaugh Reading Series guest speaker on Wed., March 18, at 7 p.m. The lecture will be held in the Black Box Theater at the Arts Center at Murphy Hall.

Floreano Rochester Riverside Convention Center. A networking reception will begin at 5 p.m. with the dinner and program beginning at 6 p.m.

02/23/2026 - The Wegmans School of Nursing at St. John Fisher University has received a grant from the Mother Cabrini Health Foundation, the largest grantmaking organization focused exclusively on advancing the health and well-being of New Yorkers, that announced its latest round of grants totaling over $142 million to organizations across New York State that are strengthening essential systems of care while addressing the rising and immediate needs of vulnerable New Yorkers.
