March First Friday Lecture Focuses on Growth of Wellness Care at Fisher

Learn about the growth of health and wellness care at St. John Fisher University during the March Friday Lecture featuring Rebecca Kieffer ’96, LCSW-R, director of the University’s Health and Wellness Center.

Kieffer’s lecture, “From Past to Present: The Growth of Wellness Care at Fisher,” will explore the evolution of wellness services at Fisher. From the early days, when a single nurse provided care, to the development of an integrated center offering medical and counseling services, this presentation will highlight the growing emphasis on student wellness and its vital role in campus life.

The talk begins at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 7, in the James ’71 and Kathleen Leo Community Room in the Joseph S. Skalny Welcome Center. A continental breakfast will be served at 10 a.m., and following the lecture, attendees are invited to attend 12:30 p.m. Mass at the Hermance Family Chapel of St. Basil the Great.
