Campus Climate Survey Launches This Week
Beginning Thursday, Jan. 11, the University will launch the Diversity and Equity Campus Climate Survey, an opportunity for employees and students to share confidential and honest feedback about Fisher’s ability to create an inclusive, diverse, and engaging environment.
The survey will be offered in Spanish and English and takes about 20 minutes to complete. It will remain open until Friday, Feb. 2.
According to Senior Diversity Officer Dr. Marlowe Washington, the biennial survey examines the current attitudes, behaviors, and perceptions of Fisher employees and students regarding diversity, equity, and inclusion on campus. Fisher will use the results of the survey to inform and improve its DEI support, policies, and practices. The 11-member Campus Climate Planning Committee, which is working with the Higher Education Data Sharing Consortium to administer the survey, will assemble key findings and recommendations that will be shared during the fall 2024 semester.
“Fisher is committed to providing an inclusive and supportive environment where all can succeed, and the Campus Climate Survey is an important opportunity to help us identify where to focus our future efforts,” said Washington.
