Six Ways to Show Fisher Love

This week, St. John Fisher College will celebrate Philanthropy Week, I Heart Fisher Day of Giving, and 50 Days until Graduation. That’s six days of contests, prizes, food, and fun, all designed to demonstrate a shared appreciation for Fisher.

Pull out your favorite Cardinal gear and check out the many ways you can show (and spread) your Fisher love.

Fisherize Your Wardrobe.
President Rooney has proclaimed Thursday, March 21 “I Heart Fisher Day” so wear your Cardinal Red with pride. Nothing in your wardrobe fitting the bill? Swing by the Campus Center Atrium at noon this Thursday for a chance to snag an official “I Heart Fisher” t-shirt.

Invest in Our School.
Thursday, March 21 is the inaugural Day of Giving, a full 24 hours of Fisher love! Make your contributions go even further by participating in challenges to unlock leadership gifts from fellow donors. Follow #fishergivingday on social to see the challenges in real-time.

Share the Love.
Be a Day of Giving ambassador for Fisher! Your involvement will help us reach our Day of Giving Goals. Our Ambassador toolkit has everything you need to demonstrate your pride in Fisher and spread the word to your friends and networks, including social media graphics so you can share the love online, too.

Hit Up Philanthropy Week Events.
Games, prizes, and cake on Monday, March 18. Thank-a-Donor Ice Cream Social on Tuesday, March 19. Cardinal on the Street on Wednesday, March 20. And there’s more! This week’s events promote the importance of philanthropy. 

Engage in Service during Fisher Family Volunteer Day.
The second annual Fisher Family Volunteer Day is Saturday, March 23. You can join an army of Fisher alumni and friends helping the community at sites in Rochester, Buffalo, and Syracuse. With options for child-friendly sites, this is a wonderful activity to do with your family. Service sites do have limited capacity, and participation is determined on a first-come, first-served basis.

Calling all seniors: Friday, March 22 marks 50 Days until Graduation! Start the countdown with the ultimate party from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Mainstage.
