03/21/2019 - Following the completion of the Indoor Track and Field season, the Empire 8 announced that St. John Fisher College junior Eddie Mahana was named the conference’s Track Athlete of the Year while sophomore Kyle Rollins was selected as its Field Athlete of Year.
03/20/2019 - The St. John Fisher College Sport Management program will recognize Atlanta United FC, 2018 Major League Soccer Champions, as the 2019 Sport Organization of the Year during its annual awards ceremony.
03/20/2019 - This spring, the School of Business at St. John Fisher College is launching a Family Business Club to serve students who are interested in the unique experiences of being in a family-owned firm.
03/20/2019 - Derek Vanderlinde spent more than 20 years leading Vanderlinde Electric Corp., a third-generation family-owned business. In 2001, he helped broker the sale of the family business to pursue new passions. That path has led to St. John Fisher College, where he has taught in both the undergraduate and graduate programs in the School of Business since 2011.
03/18/2019 - Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative reporter and best-selling author David Cay Johnston will present his lecture, “The Role of Media in 2019 America,” at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3, in Cleary Family Auditorium in Kearney Hall. Sponsored by the Department of Media and Communication, the lecture is free and open to the public.
03/18/2019 - This week, St. John Fisher College will celebrate Philanthropy Week, I Heart Fisher Day of Giving, and 50 Days until Graduation. That’s six days of contests, prizes, food, and fun, all designed to demonstrate a shared appreciation for Fisher.

The political science and Spanish major is our next featured senior in the 2019 Countdown to Commencement series; she was nominated by Dr. Sebastien Lazardeux, professor and chair of the Political Science Department.
03/13/2019 - The School of Business at St. John Fisher College will create an interactive trading lab complete with cutting-edge Bloomberg Technology, thanks to a $500,000 gift from Walter and Barbara Parkes.
03/12/2019 - Master’s programs offered through St. John Fisher College’s Wegmans School of Nursing are among the top 130 programs in the country, according to a ranking by U.S. News & World Report. Fisher ranked No. 129 for Best Nursing Schools - Master’s in the 2020 edition of the publication’s “Best Grad Schools Nursing” lists.
