Submit a Proposal for Diversity Teach-In
The Office of Multicultural Affairs at St. John Fisher University is accepting proposals for its upcoming Teach-In, “What Unites Us.”
Event organizers are seeking proposals for speakers to present ideas, stories, and experiences that highlight unity across diverse backgrounds, beliefs, and communities. Collaboration between Fisher community members including across departments, faculty, staff, and students is encouraged.
Proposals are due on Friday, Nov. 1. The Teach-In will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 21, during the 2025 Spirit of Identity Week.
Successful proposals will focus on topics that explore unity, connection, and shared experiences across diverse communities. Presenters will be asked to deliver a 20-minute TED-style talk with 10 minutes for questions.
