11/18/2024 - St. John Fisher University students will present, “Fractures: Political Theater at the Black Box,” from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 6, at the Black Box Theater in the Arts Center at Murphy Hall.

11/18/2024 - The St. John Fisher University women’s volleyball team swept crosstown rival Nazareth University in the Empire 8 title match on Saturday capturing the program’s fifth Empire 8 Championship. In doing so, the team secured the conference’s automatic bid to the 2024 NCAA Division III Women’s Volleyball Championship.

11/15/2024 - Entrepreneurship Week at St. John Fisher University will feature a range of events, competitions, and opportunities tailored to support budding entrepreneurs. The week kicks off on Monday, Nov. 18, and draws to a close on Friday, Nov. 22.

11/12/2024 - Last spring, Emma Muchow, a junior media and communication major, and Marissa Terech, a junior Spanish and early education dual major, began the process of creating and publishing a children’s bilingual poetry book, Pig Tales and Poemas with Mia la Cerdita.

11/11/2024 - In what was considered one of the most pivotal presidential races in American history, this election season was marked by many ‘firsts,’ including America’s first woman of color presidential nominee. In addition, members of Gen Z, including many at Fisher, participated in a presidential election for the first time, coming of voting age just this year.

11/11/2024 - During the first week of November, St. John Fisher University joined colleges and universities across the United States in celebrating first-generation students and their accomplishments. In recognition of First-Generation Week, Fisher welcomed Stephanie Woodward ’10, Fisher alumna and Disability EmpowHer Network founder and executive director, to campus to deliver a keynote talk.

11/09/2024 - The No. 1-seeded St. John Fisher University men’s soccer team cinched the Empire 8 Championship trophy with a 2-0 victory over No. 7-seeded Elmira College on Saturday night at Growney Stadium.
