11/19/2021 - Wegmans School of Pharmacy residents Jennifer Rafferty, Tenzin Legdup, and Jennifer Chen visited third graders in the Pittsford Central School District to talk about medication safety and introduce them to the pharmacy profession.

11/18/2021 - This fall, students in the Learning Community course, Refugees and Race in Rochester, are hosting a New Toy and Warm Clothing Drive to benefit refugee families at Mary’s Place.

11/18/2021 - Dr. Julia Overton-Healy, director of career services, contributed a blog for the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) Center for Career Development and Talent Acquisition.

11/18/2021 - A new and first of its kind curriculum designed for integration into existing primary care nurse practitioner residency programs to improve the health care experience for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) has been developed by nursing faculty at the Golisano Institute for Developmental Disability Nursing at St. John Fisher College’s Wegmans School of Nursing.

11/18/2021 - COVID-19 disrupted what was once considered a “normal” life. Many industries have been forever changed. Some have thrived (healthcare, technology) while others nearly disappeared (travel, on-site retail). Ways of living, socializing, and learning have been forever altered and that includes how we work (or how we find work).

But this year, trios of siblings on the St. John Fisher College women’s cross country team and men’s soccer team bring new meaning to the term Fisher family.
