Candidate Performance Data for Uniform CPA Exam
The Uniform Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Examination is developed by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) with significant input and assistance by the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) and state boards of accountancy. It is designed to assess the knowledge and skills entry-level CPAs need to practice public accountancy.
Uniform CPA exam performance as reported in the annual publication of the Uniform CPA Examination: Candidate Performance (Candidate Performance Book) by NASBA. The following data is the annual CPA pass rates for first-time only test-takers by jurisdiction. Performance is reported by the institution attended, which is self-reported by testing candidates.
