10/07/2022 - On Wednesday, Sept. 21, Dr. Marlowe V.N. Washington, senior diversity officer at St. John Fisher University was appointed by Governor Hochul to serve on the New York State Law Enforcement Agency Accreditation Council.
10/04/2022 - Faculty members at St. John Fisher University pride themselves on the personal connections they make with students. Their mission is to help students appreciate all that there is in education. Dr. Jane Snyder from the School of Arts and Sciences is a prime example.
09/26/2022 - Two years after he was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, Kevin Hines attempted to take his life by jumping from the Golden Gate Bridge. Since the Golden Gate Bridge opened in 1937, thousands of people have tried to take their lives by jumping; he is among only 34 to have survived.

09/05/2022 - The second annual Inclusion Dinner sponsored by the Student Government Association, Black Student Union, Asian Student Union, Sexuality and Gender Alliance, Muslim Student Association, and Latiné Student Union welcomed 275 attendees, 100 more than the inaugural dinner in 2021.

08/10/2022 - Students in the Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program (CSTEP) at Monroe Community College (MCC) received an up-close look at careers in pharmacy during the Pharmacy Day Camp, held on Friday, Aug. 5 and hosted by the Wegmans School of Pharmacy.
07/07/2022 - Anchored by keynote speaker St. John Fisher University alumnus Dr. George Lopez ’72, an international expert on peace and justice, 25 rising high school junior and senior student leaders attended the second annual GDK Summer Student Leadership Conference “Building Pathways to Peace,” held in June on campus.
